Let the Games Begin

Slick (I named our gopher) is back! It’s kinda rainy today but tomorrow I’m going to set the trap again. I’m not so scared of it so this time I think I’ll do a better job. He’s got three mounds built and the good thing is that he at least went to the other side of the fence to build them. Maybe my pounding the ground and taking away his dirt worked? OK maybe not the reason he moved, but at least he did get his path out of the main mowing area and over by the field. I’m ready to catch him for two reasons, the first reason is to get rid of him for good and second is to see if I can really do it by myself!
